Acclaimed by the press as a pianist with ‘a fiery temperament’ and ‘an endearing artistic personality’, Fanny Azzuro is driven by an insatiable curiosity and decided zest for the fusion of musical and artistic styles. Her first solo recording, Russian Impulse, was released in 2014 on the Paraty label and received international critical acclaim (**** from BBC Music Magazine, *** from Classica and also reviewed in Fanfare, Crescendo, Musikzen…).

With a passion for chamber music, she expands her concert range with key partners, such as the Van Kuijk Quartet, the violinists Kristi Gjezi, Solenne Païdassi, Vanessa Szigeti and Pierre Azzuro, her horn-playing brother. As part of the SpiriTango Quartet, created five years ago, she has found a new way of expression and has developed many original arrangements. She has also designed a new program with Hervé Sellin and other musicians based on classic and jazz repertoires, called Passerelles (bridges).

She benefited immensely from meeting the great masters Boris Petrushansky and Vladimir Viardo, as much on a technical level as on a musical one. Fanny Azzuro was also honoured to receive valuable advice from Dmitri Bashkirov, Dominique Merlet, Jacques Rouvier, Tuija Hakkila, Laurent Cabasso and Denis Pascal.
