The French Institute in the UAE has organized graduation ceremonies of the DELF Junior 2016, the 1st and 2nd October, in the International School of Choueïfat in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The students who graduated with the level B1 and B2 of the DELF Junior 2016 session were thus acclaimed by an enthusiastic audience composed of their institutions, teachers and families.
Since the creation of the DELF/DALF diploma in 1985, more than three million applicants have successfully passed one of the DELF or DALF exams in the world. These exams are currently offered in more than 1,000 centers worldwide. In the United Arab Emirates, the DELF Junior diplomas cover about 1,000 students per year. This year, 1,188 pupils were divided into 2 sessions, one in Abu Dhabi / Al Ain and the other in Dubai.
The diplomas of the DELF and the DALF, valid for life, represent a significant asset for the youth in the UAE, and they are well aware of what is at stake. Indeed, in our societies of mobility and training, certifications play an essential part, as language learning is no longer contained between school walls, but everyone needs to enhance his profile by having an official recognition of his language skills.
