Higher Education in France:

More than 260 000 foreign students (representing around 12 % of the student population) chose to study in France.
As the world’s fifth largest economy (accounting for 5% of world GDP and 6% of global trade) France has developed over the years a performance and quality orientated higher education system with strong research and innovation capacities

The French education system includes 83 universities and establishments, 224 engineering colleges , 220 schools of business and management, 120 art schools, 20 schools of architecture and 300 other institutions, schools or institutes relating to specific sectors as paramedics , tourism , sport , fashion …
There is no distinction between foreign and French students: access requirements are identical, diplomas and registration costs are the same.

 

Campus France Abu Dhabi:

The National Agency CAMPUS FRANCE is responsible for promoting French foreign higher education. It is represented by 135 spaces, located in 107 different countries.
The agency supports the students through all the steps of their research: PROMOTION, INFORMATION, REGISTRATION, and help them with pre-departure visa procedures.

Located at the French Embassy in Abu Dhabi and at Alliance française in Dubaï Campus France offers the following services:

● To support you in your study plan:
- Information on the French higher education system
- Analysis of your study plan and advice on appropriate programs
- Support for enrolment procedures in a French higher education Institution

● To establish, verify and validate your student files before submitting your application for a student visa:
Make sure to have the following documents the day of your appointment (original + scan to campusfrance@if-uae.com):
- 2 forms for a long stay visa , filled + Passport
- 2 photos
- The last graduation dilpoma
- The confirmation letter of admission to the university / school
- Certificate as a proof of accommodation in France.

Note that, the 7 Emirates (Abu Dhabi and Al -Ain , Ajman , Sharjah , Dubai, Fujaïra , Ras Al Khaimah , Umm Al Quwain) are involved in the service of France Abu Dhabi Campus.
