Expo 2020 : Francophonie Day

In March 20, on the occasion of international Francophonie Day, private and public schools teaching French, as well as French schools in the Emirates will prepare a free expression French culture project, that will mirror the French-speaking film festival “Francofilm” and associated events (concerts, conferences, etc.) organized along with members of the French cultural network and French speaking Embassies.

Program :

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Discussion Forum “La Francophonie in all its forms” – Come and discuss contemporary and committed Francophonie! – Location France Pavilion

10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: shows by Gems modern academy students – Location: Sun stage – district Mobility

2 p.m. – 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Choir of French high schools and private high schools coordinated by the Franco-Lebanese artist Tania Kassis – Location: sun stage – district opportunity

All day: Culinary tour on the different pavilions, come and discover culinary specialties from French-speaking countries

All day: digital animation with the Francophonie chatbot: fun French lessons and quizzes on French-speaking cultures
