Exceptional meeting with Bruno Julliard, director of Art Explora “for sharing culture with as many people as possible”.
Bruno Julliard was elected in 2005 President of UNEF, the first student union. In 2008, he became Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of youth. He was elected First Deputy to the Mayor of Paris in charge of culture, crafts and heritage in 2014. Member of numerous boards of directors of Parisian cultural institutions, he was notably President of Paris Museums, a public establishment bringing together the 14 museums of the City of Paris, from 2014 to 2018. Special advisor to the Minister of National Education in 2012, he contributed to the drafting of the orientation law for the school. Leaving Paris City Hall in 2018, he joined Frédéric Jousset to foreshadow the Art Explora foundation and take charge of it when it was created in December 2019.
Art Explora will represent Arts and Culture within the France Pavilion of the Dubai World Expo. The Art Explora Foundation aims to reduce the cultural divide by committing to sharing art with as many people as possible. To do this, the foundation is deploying a series of initiatives, in France and abroad, relying in particular on new technologies, but also on mobile devices open to all. Art Explora thus wants to create new encounters between works and audiences, while supporting creation and cultural actors in the innovative initiatives they undertake. www.artexplora.org
