As part of Day of France, the Institut Français is partnering with Cofrex and will support the French group Berywam during a beatbox concert. On this occasion, various activations will be offered on the France pavilion to celebrate the Francophonie.
The french group Berywam is made up of four beatboxers, each with their own specialties: Beatness, Rythmind, Wawad and Beasty. They won the French team championships in 2016 in Paris as well as the world team championships in 2018 in Berlin.
The group have a simple ambition: to democratiz the Human Beatbox. Coming from very different musical backgrounds, Berywam is an explosive cocktail of various musical flavors. Navigating between Hip-Hop, Reggae, classical or electro music, the crew transcends the limits of vocal music.
