Expo 2020 : The Institut Français in the UAE invites you to rethink mobility

Rethinking mobility

In 2010, Saint-Étienne became the first French city to join the UNESCO network of “creative cities of design”. Eleven years later, it remains the only city in France to be included in this prestigious circle, which allows Saint-Étienne to shine throughout the world. The Cité du design, the driving force behind Saint-Etienne’s creative district, accompanies all publics in the realities and uses of design through 3 complementary missions: teaching art and design at the ESADSE (Saint-Etienne Higher School of Art and Design), disseminating design culture through exhibitions including the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Etienne (12th edition 6 April-31 July 2022), conferences, workshops, and supporting companies, public establishments and territories in their design strategies, training and projects.

The Universal Exhibition, an essential reference for innovation and foresight, is an opportunity for the City of Saint-Etienne and the Cité du design to showcase French design on the international scene through a day dedicated to the mobility of the future. This subject is essential for a sustainable future, respectful of the planet and people. It responds to the “Green deal” and the “New European Bauhaus”, an initiative of the European Commission to engage all actors in a responsible approach. Let’s meet on november 6 on France Pavilion for an exceptional day around mobility and design. Registration with the link below.
